So, there's hope for the youth after all. Earlier this week a video leaked, showing upsetting footage of Chicago rapper Lil Reese assaulting a young woman. The clip caused uproar (although some fans seemed to think it was amusing) and the Def Jam rapper took to Twitter to post a message that seemed to show no remorse for his action. On Friday night however, he finally decided to apologize.

"Everybdy makes mistakes I was out of charcter & ive grown sense then Dont judge me for my past i can admit my wrongs and I apologize.#3hunna" he wrote on Twitter. This comes after the first tweet he sent addressing the leak of the video, which seemed to suggest that the time elapsed between the incident and now made things okay.

"The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-- from years ago damnn we winnin it's 2 late...#3hunna," he wrote. "Dis wat doin betta den da next mf bring small s--- it's nothin time 2 turn Uppp f--- it...#3hunna."

His apology is definitely a step in the right direction, but does this put an end to the outrage?

Earlier this month Reese released his Don't Like mixtape with DJ Drama and Don Canon. His single "Us" was remixed by Rick Ross and Drake on Rozay's The Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape.

We want to hear from the fans. Let us know what you think!
